Refining System

We've made some changes to refining system that is specific to GlacialRO. This will allow players to further optimize ATK / MATK, DEF / MDEF capability of a character.

Avoiding Downgrades (Degrading)

A new feature was added that will let you counteract the downgrade result if refining fails, by using Magical Stones dropped by tiny / giant and MMVPs. You can additionally sacrifice a unrefined version of the same item in your inventory to protect your item from refine downs when refining with "enriched ores" (Special Refine).


This table shows what will be the outcome of your refined weapon after it fails on given range of degrades.

Notes:

Each magic stone / unrefined version of the same item you use nullifies (cancels out) 1 degrade level.

Safety limit to +10 is 1 level degrade.

+11 to +15 is 2 level degrade.

+16 to +20 is 3 level degrade.
