The Big PvE Update!
This is the initial part of this update, and we would like to expand on it at some point. We're not really sure when though. Anyways, enjoy the update and read up on the info below!

Refine Changes
We've made some changes to refining that our specific to our server. This will do a few things allowing players to get further in progression while adding some new types of items needed for refining, and other additional features. Please note that past +10 is for weapons only currently.

-"All Equipment" option from the refiner was removed. No one uses it and it is just extra work to maintain the feature.

-Weapons can now be refined past +20! Armors remain at +10 max. They may be changed at a later date.
--HD Oridecon, Carnium, and HD Carnium are the ores used for going past +10.
--HD Oridecon is the normal refine item. No protection just refines.
--Carnium is basically the new "enriched ore" for 11-15. It will protect the item from breaking, but you will still lose refines if you fail. Unless you use a method to lower or prevent refine loss. More details below.
--HD Carnium is basically the new "enriched ore" for 16-20. It will protect the item from breaking, but you will still lose refines if you fail. Unless you use a method to lower or prevent refine loss. More details below.
--These items are obtained from the new monsters added in this update and will possibly be added to some existing monsters at a later time.

-Magic Users now get bonus magical attack from refining their weapons now!
--Books except Doctor's Book now give 1% MATK per refine from 1-10 and 2% MATK per refine from 11-20. Max 30%.
--All Books except Doctor's Booknow have a base 12% MDEF pierce.
--1H Rods now give 1% MATK per refine from 1-10 and 2% MATK per refine from 11-20. Max 30%
--Base MATK Value for most 1H rods reduced to 5%.
--2H Rods now give 1% MATK per refine from 1-10 and 2% MATK per refine from 11-15 and 3% MATK per refine from 16-20. Max 35%.
--All 2H rods now have 10 DEX.
--All 2H rods now have a base MATK value of 15% and 10% MDEF Pierce.
--All 2H rods now have 2 slots.

-Refine prices have changed.
--+1 to +10 now costs current refine level x 5,000 Zeny.
--+11 to +15 now costs current refine level x 10,000 Zeny.
--+16 to +20 now costs current refine level x 20,000 Zeny.

-Adjusted the chances for refines for weapons. Refer to this link for more information http://glacialro.com/wiki/index.php?title=Refining_System

-Adjusted the amount of refine downs that may occur when using enriched ores. This CAN be counteracted, details are a little further down.
--Safety Limit to +10 is -1 Refines lost when failing a refine using enriched ores.
--+11 to +15 is -2 Refines lost when failing a refine using enriched ores.
--+16 to +12 is -3 Refines lost when failing a refine using enriched ores.


-Added a new feature that will let you counteract the refine downs by using Magical Stones and you can additionally sacrifice a unrefined version of the same item in your inventory to protect your item from refine downs when refining with "enriched ores".
--These item is lost regardless if you fail the refine or not. The items to prevent the refine down that is.
--You must always use at least one Magic Stone to prevent refine downs.
--Magic Stones prevent 1 refine down per stone. You can use 1 or 2 Magic Stones, no more.
--Alternately you can use 1 Magic Stone and 1 unrefined version of the same item instead of 2 Magic Stones.
--Regardless you can prevent up to 2 refine downs. This means you can potentially prevent refine downs up to +15, and reduces refine fails with enriched ores after that to -1.


-Made a few miscellaneous improvements and changes to our custom refiner. Some mentioned below.
--The refiner will now same the exact name of the materials used when mentioning the related ores instead of generic information.
--The refiner will now check if you even have an "enriched ore" as soon as you choose the option instead of first going through a bunch of dialogue. Then call you a goof if you don't.


PvE Content
(New Monsters are listed in a monster section below)
-Implemented Mega MVPS(MMVPS). With this initial implementation there are 5 MMVPS added to the game. These are very difficult open world bosses(not instanced), with some pretty nice drops.
--MMVPS have a very long re-spawn time.
--MMVPS will drop our first wave of unique items! Each MMVP drops one of these. More information in the Items section.
--Each MMVP has their own card. These cards have their effects already unlike Giant and Tiny monsters.
--Very difficulty and will require a party to take down, the more the merrier.
--MMVPS will drop like a normal monster but will also drop items on the ground in a similar manner to an event boss, so that everyone joining in killing it has a chance to obtain drops.
--Party Members of the person who got the normal drops will also get some bonus drops.
--Can also be summoned via MMVP summoning scrolls or by giving Player Skulls to the Sacrifical Altar. More information in the other section.
--Each MMVP drops their own MMVP boxes. These give event tokens and a SMALL chance at all the MMVPs normal loot from it's loot table. With the exception of cards.

-Implemented Giant Monsters in almost every field map.
--There are 123 different Giant Monsters.
--Difficult but usually soloable.
--Their cards drop but their effects are NOT yet implemented, but you can obtain them.
--Easiest of the new type of monsters we added with this update and have the shortest respawn time of the 3 types as well.

-Implemented Tiny Monsters.
--There are 20 different Tiny Monsters.
--A lot rarer than giant monsters, and generally more difficult.
--Longer spawn timers than giant monsters.
--Tiny monsters are usually fast and have a lot of flee. They
--Difficult and possible to solo but getting some help is recommended.
--Their cards drop but their effects are NOT yet implemented, but you can obtain them.


Items
-Implemented new unique items.
--These items are named existing items. An example is Rock Emperor's Fin Helm. You can identify these items by the * at the start of their name. The effects the unique item provides also has * before the listed effects.
--Dropped only by MMVPs currently.

-New Enchant Stones!
--These are obtained from Enchant Stone Boxes.
--Most of these effects only work on monsters but some work everywhere.
--Check the Enchant Stones section for all the effects from the enchant stones.

-Enchant Stone Box
--Gives you a random PvE Enchant Stone. No PvP enchant stones from these, those are still obtained only from the killmark shop.
--Only drops from new monster types implemented with this update.

-MMVP Cards
--Powerful cards only droped by MMVPs. The effects for these are implemented.

-Giant Cards
--Obtainable from any Giant Monsters. These cards do not yet have their effects implemented. They will come at a later date.

-Tiny Cards
--Obtainable from any Giant Monsters. These cards do not yet have their effects implemented. They will come at a later date.

-MMVMP Summoning Scroll
--Summons a random MMVP. Does not work in any place that dead branchs don't work in, including towns of course.

-Mini-Shower Scroll
--Summons a miniture shower. Can only be used in the middle of Caspen!

-MMVP Token
--Obtained from MMVPS as long as you're in the party of the player who got the main drops from the MMVP. Used for the Weekly Mission Board mission. The weekly mission may not be implemented right away, just check back daily if you happen to get a token and don't see it.

-MMVP Boxs.
--There is a MMVP box for each MMVP. These are droped in shower fasion when a MMVP is killed, so loot quick!

-Magic Stone
--Used to prevent refine downs. Obtained from new monsters in this update.

Achievements
The following achievements have been added.

Sacrifical - Be the one to give the final skulls to the sacrificial alter to make it summon an MMVP. (200 Points)
Giant Slayer - Kill 60 Giant Monsters. (250 Points)
The Harder They Fall - Kill 120 Giant Monsters. (500 Points)
Size Doesn't Matter - Kill 240 Giant Monsters. (1000 Points)
Tiny Slayer - Kill 20 Tiny Monsters. (250 Points)
Little Buggers - Kill 40 Tiny Monsters. (500 Points)
Bully - Kill 80 Tiny Monsters. (1000 Points)
Contender - Kill 200 monsters, 5 MVPs, and 15 players. You must kill all of the objectives in the Colosseum. (250 Points)
Proven Warrior - Kill 500 monsters, 10 MVPs, and 40 players. You must kill all of the objectives in the Colosseum. (500 Points)
Gladiator - Kill 1500 monsters, 20 MVPs, and 100 players. You must kill all of the objectives in the Colosseum. (1000 Points)
Master Refiner - Refine any item to +20. (1000 Points)

Other
-Added the Sacrificial Altar, at a undisclosed location. Happy hunting!
--Allows you to give Player Skulls to the Altar. After a certain amount of skulls that varies from time to time, a MMVP will be summoned and an announcement will be made that the MMVP has been summoned.

-Enchantments can now be removed with a catch.
--3,000,000 Zeny fee.
--There is a 50/50 chance that the stone will be recovered when removing the stone.
--You can give the npc a Power Stone for a 100% chance for the stone to be recovered.

-Updated the Last Man Standing script. Not to much noteworthy here, some small fixes/script improvements.

-The Warper now has an instances section that allows you to warp to the entrance of a instance, or npc that let's you enter.

-3 New Missions added to the mission board! These are added manually in-game so they will not be available as soon as the server comes up from maintenance.
--Daily: Kill 8 Giant Monsters
--Daily: Kill 2 Tiny Monsters
--Weekly: Turn in 1 MMVP Token. Obtained from MMVPS if you're the player who got the main drops from the MMVP or you're in the party with that player.

-Disabled Greed everywhere. Because fuck that skill.

-The login rewards have been changed. We've done this primarily because people just have to many of these items, and they are intended as a small bonus to boost your chances and leveling speed. However, with how many of these we give players have double rate rates(pretty much) at all times, making it much harder to control.
--For normal players you no longer obtain Field Manuals and Bubble Gum Daily. Instead you get one once a week.
--You still get 1 Berry Box daily still.
--Elite Status still get them daily but the amount has been reduced from 2 Field Manual/Bubble Gum daily to 1.

-Giant Joker Card MDEF pierce increased from 15% to 20% to compensate for 4% MDEF Pierce change.
-Giant Moonlight Flower Card no longer increases ASPD if Sacrifice is learned.
-Bakonawa Claw Card ATK bonus increased from 10% to 15%.
-4% MDEF Pierce is now 3% MDEF Pierce. Still reduced to 2% if using High Wizard Card.
-Giant Phreeoni Card changed from 0% ATK and +1% per refine to 5% ATK and +1% per 2 refines.
-Moonlight Flower Card movement speed bonus increased from 25% to 40%
-Bacsojin 15% SP cost penalty removed.
-Baphomet Card -10 HIT penalty replaced with +50 HIT.

Bakonawa Lake:
-All phases of Bakonawa now have some MDEF(not that it matters).
-Phase 3 Bakonawa now has more physical attacks.
-Phase 3 Bakonawa VIT reduced.
-Phase 3 Bakonawa HP increased.
-Phase 3 Bakonawa now has a few new toys like Hellpower.
-Wakwak(what a stupid monster name) HP increased.
-Wakwak no longer has 100 MDEF.
-Wakwak no longer has ridiculous amounts of VIT.


Status:
-Burn no longer reduces MDEF.

Misc:
-Challenge Arena boss damage lowered across the board to compensate for Assumptio changes.

Job:

Champion:
-Asura Strike damage increased by about 30% on GVG maps(like WOE) to make the damage more similar to PVP maps. It's very weak in GVG.

Priest:
-Assumptio now only reduces damage in PVE by 1/3 instead of 1/2. This skill was too strong and everything PVE related had to be balanced around the assumption
that no one was ever going to do anything without this skill activated. It also means that this means no one will ever use any other support for party related activities
unless we give those spec rings equally overpowered skills. That kind of power creep would break the game, especially when combined together.

Assassin:
-Venom Dust now causes Deadly Poison instead of Poison.
-Venom Splasher bomb delay reduced from 9.5 seconds to 3 seconds.
-Enchant Poison chance to poison increased from 2.5% + 0.5% per level to 2.5% + 1% per level.

Paladin:
-Falcon Assault, Bullseye and Full Buster now ignore Defender.

Clown/Gypsy:
-Can now use Berserk Potions.

Gunslinger:
-Gatling Fever no longer reduces FLEE.
-Madness Canceler now increases ATK by 20% instead of a flat 100.
-Madness Canceler no longer increases ASPD.

Ninja:
-Flip Tatami duration increased from 3 seconds to 6 seconds.

Professor:
-Soul Burn damage is now SP drained * 7 instead of *2.

Super Novice:
-Fixed a bug where base SP was extremely low.



Specialization Rings:

Templar Ring:
-Added +50% Emperium damage bonus when using Holy Piercer.

Siren/Jester Ring:
-Added +300% Emperium damage bonus when using Whips/Guitars.

Battlesmith Ring:
-Added +50% Emperium damage bonus.

Scout Ring:
-Emperium damage bonus vs WOE Emperiums increased from 100% to 200 when Gloom Undernight Card is equipped.%
-Emerpium damage bonus vs all Emperiums except WOE increased from 100% to 150 when Gloom Undernight Card is equipped.%

Engineer Ring:
-Silver Sniper ASPD increased by about 50% but ATK reduced from 6000 to 4000.

Enchanter Ring:
-Lightning Bolt has a chance to cause Silence and Stun.
-Earth Spike now causes Poison and Deadly Poison.
-Soul Strike curse chance increased.
-Earth Spike level bonus increased from 5 to 8 to match bolt spell damage.
-Added +16 Soul Strike levels to match bolt spell damage.

Sorcerer Ring:
These changes are designed to give Sorcerers more consistent damage with their skills as well as better control their amount of power. Right now most of them are just annoying and don't actually do much damage unless you can abuse flinching mechanics with Heavens Drive + Thunderstorm which allows them to do a little too much damage sometimes considering the skills are AOE. Chain Lightning is a pseudo AOE that gives hem another attack that isn't blocked by Land Protect to give them more to do while it is on the ground and apply more consistent damage in general.
-Heavens Drive damage bonus removed.
-Thunderstorm damage bonus removed.
-Storm Gust level bonus removed.
-Frost Misty level increased from 1 to 3.
-Now has level 2 Ganbatein which clears ground effects in a 5x5 area.
-Can now use Earth Grave level 5.
-Can now use Chain Lightning level 5.
-Added +50% Storm Gust damage bonus.
-Increased Lord of Suckmillion damage bonus from 25% to 150%

Hyper Novice Ring:
-40 AGI bonus removed.
-Increased ASPD bonus from 15% to 50%.
-Bonus 50% ASPD when using daggers.
-Added +100 HIT bonus.
-Flee bonus increased from 5% to 12%
-Now does 200% extra damage to Emperiums if not using Gloom Undernight Card.
-500 SP bonus removed.

Ultra Novice Ring:
-500% SP bonus removed.

Sniper Ring:
-Added 75% Emperium damage bonus.
-Cannnot use Madness Canceler if Deadeye is equipped.

Assault Ring:
-Added 100% Emperium damage bonus when using Cutlass.

Illusionist Ring:
-North Wind damage penalty removed.
-Added 25% North Wind damage bonus.
-Lightning Spear of Ice now has a chance to cause Freezing.
-Added 25% Crimson Fire Blossom damage bonus.
-Increased Wind Blade damage bonus from 80% to 125%

Virus Ring:
-Added +10% ASPD bonus.
-Poison Buster no longer cancels Poison.
-Poison Buster now uses weapon element.
-Poison Buster now does damage in a 9x9 area around the target.
-Poison Buster now does physical damage.

Ambusher Ring:
-Soul Sever now dispells Devotion instead of Soul Link.
-Soul Sever cooldown increased from 10 seconds to 20 seconds.
